In which a cheating girlfriend inspires a bad song.

In case you didn't know, Rock Band DLC(that's downloadable content for the uninitiated) is announced every Friday and occasionally has some company from big-brother Guitar Hero III. This weekly feature is here to make sure you know what it is and have the oppertunity to prepare to pay for it.

Rock Band this week brings us the kind of pack we suspected parent company MTV would mandate every couple months. The songs are:

"It Hurts" by Angels & Airwaves

"Date With The Night" by Yeah Yeah Yeahs

"This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race" by Fall Out Boy

All are master tracks by the bands themselves and will retail for 160 Microsoft Points ($2) individually or 440 MSP($5.50) as the Scene Pack 01. It will hit the Xbox Live Marketplace on Tuesday and the PSN store on Thursday.

But wait, there's more, Guitar Hero III has a pack this week by British art-rockers Muse; lovers of fuzzy guitars and even fuzzier subject matters. The songs are:

"Exo-Politics"

"Stockholm Syndrome"

"Supermassive Black Hole"

The Muse pack will arrive on the Xbox Live Marketplace and PSN store Thursday for a price that hasn't been made entirely clear yet, but count on 600 MSP ($6.25) it will be available only as a pack.

Have fun and remember: you can always check out goatse.cx for a different kind of supermassive black hole.

P.S. I forgot to post this, but last week's Rock Band DLC songs were:

"Red Tandy" by The Mother Hips

"Time-Sick Son Of A Grizzly Bear" by The Mother Hips

"Zero" by Smashing Pumpkins

Go get those instead of this week's crap.
