Activision has finally announced a release date for the long delayed PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Both versions will be hitting retail stores on May 30th, 2008.
Originally released on the PC in later 2007 as a sequel to the free multiplayer shooter Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, the class-based gameplay focuses on teamwork and coordination in an effort to complete a number of map-specific objectives.
The PS3 version is currently being developed by Z-Axis (Aggressive Inline), while Nerve Software (who has ported previous id games to consoles) is handling the Xbox 360 version.
Activision has also released a trailer to go along with the announcement.
